ABOUT US

Mike and Bev Koornneef

Mike and Bev Koornneef (and their 4 children) own and operate 10 acres of clean strawberry fields.

Mike grew up on a tender fruit farm in the Niagara region of Ontario, where he worked in his family’s strawberry patch for many years. He is the expert in keeping our fields healthy and thriving.

Bev grew up in Abbotsford, BC, and many of her summers were spent picking strawberries and raspberries. When our family decided to move to Alberta in 2018, we missed berry season fiercely! Given Mike’s experience, we saw an opportunity to share our love for agriculture in this unique way, and we hope you can create memories of picking berries fresh from the field as well.
